Whether you’ve never used an airbrush before, or you want to get more out of the one you own, Dawn will take you though the very basics in a comfortable and fun learning environment. You don’t even need to own your own piece of kit as Dawn will provide simply everything that you require, so if you’re thinking of getting an airbrush but not sure whether you’ll use it – take this class and try before you buy!
With class design elements unique to Renshaw, you will learn how to identify different types of airbrushes. In this class you will be using Dawn’s single action compressor airbrush, learning how to use Rainbow Dust Liquid Colours to create effects such as waves, water and wood grain, as well as how to blend and shade. Your project work will be based on edible icing sheets, and in addition to stencilling you will be using colour theory to achieve a variation of shades.
Not only this you will also receive a presentation folder in which you can store your icing sheets, along with guides for each of the designs you have created throughout the day.
Finally you will also learn how to properly clean and maintain your airbrush, including how completely strip and re-assemble the tool. As well as get the opportunity to purchase your very own airbrush and stencils plus more, in our exclusive Academy shop!
