Join the Academy’s resident tutor Emma Chamberlain, this May on our fun packed character modelling class, learning essential cake crafting skills. Emma is a highly talented cake artist, confectioner and qualified chef.
Throughout the day you will learn how to accurately create the right proportions for your seated character using a basic structure to add support, and discover how to make simple facial features and expressions to bring your model to life.
Finally you will cover a cake dummy in Renshaw Ready To Roll Icing, and add a simple but effective decorative pattern, creating the perfect base for you cute character model to sit on!
WHAT WE PROVIDE:
All equipment, materials*, a cake box and an apron to wear!
A buffet styled lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
Helpful academy staff, should you require assistance.
*All our cakes are made with a standard sponge recipe which contains wheat flour, eggs, sugar, butter and may contain nuts. Our Rice Krispie bases may contain barley, pork gelatine and sugar. Our Marzipan products contain nuts.
