Join the multi award-winning cake artist Jacqui Kelly who specialises in bespoke edible art, on her fun character modelling sugar-craft class, this November here at the Academy.
Your day will start with a little DIY to learn how to create the internal structure for your cake topper. Following this you will make a whole cast of cute characters, learning how to use blends of sugarpaste with marzipan to achieve realistic proportions for your animal fondant figures, while perfecting fun facial expressions to bring your cake toppers to life. You will also discover how to properly stack and create a standing structure with your models on a fancy fondant cheese wedge!
