Join multi award-winning cake artist Jacqui Kelly this May here at the Academy, creating your very own ‘Dylan the Dragon’, a fun yet detailed design covering an array of sugarcraft skills.
Throughout the day you will be learning to work with the Renshaw sugarpaste range including the wonderful new Belgian Chocolate Modelling Pastes, and will be guided through the process of building your dragon shape around an armature structure. This will include developing your modelling skills by creating tricky features such as the dragons feet, scales, spikes and wafer paper wings. Add the finishing touches using Rainbow Dust Edible Silk.
WHAT WE PROVIDE:
All equipment, materials*, a cake box and an apron to wear!
Buffet styled lunch, refreshments and afternoon tea are included.
Helpful academy staff, should you require assistance.
*All our cakes are made with a standard sponge recipe which contains wheat flour, eggs, sugar, butter and may contain nuts. Our Rice Krispie bases may contain barley, pork gelatine and sugar. Our Marzipan products contain nuts.
