The very talented Sarah Jones from The Chocolate Strawberry is at the Academy to teach you the art of Hand-painting. You will learn how to conquer painting nerves and how to paint in a controlled way. The class will cover layering paints and the best way to do this for the most professional results. You will receive a fruit cake covered in marzipan and icing to work on, which you will then be able to take home.

Our Academy staff will also be on hand to provide guidance and assistance should you require it. At the end of the session, we will provide you with a cake box so that you can take your cake creation home with you.  Please note, in this class, the cake is a real fruit cake and will, therefore, be heavier than those created using a polystyrene dummy so please take this into consideration when making your travel arrangements.

There’s no hassle when you book onto a Renshaw Academy course as everything you need for the day is included. We’ll provide all of your materials, equipment, drink, and a light lunch so all you have to do is arrive and decorate!
